Content Column FAQ
Common questions
Should I use one column for multiple platforms?
If the platforms are meaningfully different, separate columns usually work better.
For example, X, WeChat articles, and SEO long-form content all have very different expectations around length, structure, tone, and reader intent.
Why are my generated topics too broad?
Usually the column positioning is still too broad, or the audience and content goal were not defined clearly enough.
If the setup only says something like "AI content" or "for everyone," the generated directions usually drift. It is better to define the platform, audience, themes, and content goal more concretely.
Why do the drafts still not feel like me?
The most common reasons are:
- the column prompt does not describe your tone and style clearly enough
- there was no manual or AI editing pass after generation
If the same problem keeps showing up, it is usually better to refine the column settings than to rescue each draft one by one.
Do I need to write every generated topic?
No.
The topic pool works as a candidate library. You only need to keep moving forward with the topics that are strongest and most relevant right now.
Which is better: using templates or building from scratch?
If you want speed, start with templates. If you already have a clear method, building from scratch gives you more flexibility.
Why should I still review drafts after AI generated them?
AI is great at drafting and speeding up production, but before publishing it still helps to check:
- whether the information is accurate
- whether the voice fits your account
- whether there is extra repetition
- whether the title and opening are strong enough
That usually cuts down rework later.
Do I have to turn on auto image generation?
No.
If you are still validating topic quality and body quality first, it is often safer to leave it off and add it later.
When does republishing make sense?
It makes sense when you improved the title, opening, structure, or images and the content is genuinely stronger now.
If it is only a mechanical repost of the same version, it usually adds little value.
What is the safest order for getting started?
A practical starting sequence is:
- create the column
- generate one batch of topics
- generate full drafts for only 1 to 2 topics first
- add images if needed
- publish or republish at the end
