An extremely awkward thing happened today 😅. In past few days we have been frantically pushing on improving the product and fixing community feedback, barely sleeping. But I had an online talk scheduled a few weeks ago, and I felt too awkward to cancel it, so I forced myself to go ahead with it. As I was speaking, my eyelids started fighting each other, first both eyes, then one eye closed, then both eyes shut. Every few seconds I’d open them to glance at the slides and keep talking. I basically slipped into a half-asleep state and started talking in my sleep. I even dreamed I was in a meeting with the team and blurted out some nonsense. I suddenly woke up, then stumbled my way through the rest of the talk. It was so embarrassing… thank goodness I didn’t have my video on.
